Demand for buy-to-let property is back with a bang if attendance at the first East Midlands Landlord & Letting Agent Expo is anything to go by. The exhibition, the first one organized by local landlords association EMPO, saw over 700 visitors pack into East Midlands Conference Centre at Nottingham University. The exhibition represented the biggest free event for landlords in the East Midlands and was aimed at landlords, letting agents, property investors and anyone considering entering the market.

Throughout the day visitors benefited from an extensive programme of seminars and guest speakers from over 50 exhibitors offering a wealth of advice and professional expertise. ‘Interest in our stand was overwhelming’, commented Jonathan Detheridge from GO Property Services. ‘All our staff were non-stop throughout the day, offering property advice and information to landlords and visitors. We were exhibiting in conjunction with the Association of Residential Lettings Agents ,and it was great to hear that the vast majority of landlords were looking to expand their portfolio. The event can only be described as a resounding success and a really positive sign of the strength of today’s lettings market in Nottingham’.

Added interest and buzz was provided by Graham Penny’s monthly residential property auction moving from their usual home at Nottingham’s Racecourse to the Expo for the day. ‘Interest in the auction was strong and many of the winning bidders came to see us afterwards to discuss our services. Our mission is simple, we strive to treat every property as it it was our own. Our systems set us apart from the competition, helping us provide one of the best lettings services there is. Whether you're a new or veteran landlord, you’ll be delighted by the service provided at GO’.
