This huge licensing scheme, taking in over 30,000 properties, is being introduced on 1st Augsut this year at a cost of over £600 per property.

The city council will be recruiting over 70 new environmental health officers to implenent the scheme and applications need to be made online, or there will be a further charge.

Star Performer Abbey Renshaw

Every month we like to highlight all the great work done by all the wonderful property professionals at Granger & Oaks during the previous month. ‘Treating it like our own’ has always been our guiding principle, so each month we like to put the spotlight on the individual that has done the most to go the extra mile for clients and really ‘treated it like their own’.

This month’s winner has absolutely smashed it in terms of the number of nominations from fellow colleagues. They have consistently proved they are capable of more and always gets on with what is needed without grumbling despite an increased workload during a busy time. They are truly a shining star who is thriving with extra responsibility and growing in confidence every day. Yes, this month’s winner is star Apprentice Property Administrator, Abbey Renshaw! Very well done Abbey, you really love that trophy don’t you (having won it three times in a row!).

Special mentions this month go to Bernadette Cunnane, who has been busy doing overtime to make sure ‘the job gets done’. She’s been here, there and everywhere, digging in and getting on with it, whilst offering to help with all manner of tasks. Thanks Bernadette, your help and efficiency are greatly appreciated.

Another special mention also goes to Kaz Sidhu. He has picked things up quickly and has taken on more and more tasks, and has even been helping with some training too despite not being with us for long! Thanks Kaz, you’re doing a great job and really making a positive difference.

As is often the case, we’ve had a number of colleagues nominated this month for star performance, including, Property Administrator, Kaz Sidhu for giving great customer service and showing initiative, Sales Negotiator, Bali Sidhu for, again, delivering excellent service to clients and going the extra mile to get the job done. There were also nominations for Lettings Manager, Diane Bown, for keeping the team organised during an extremely busy time of year and last, but not least, Property Administrator, Bernadette Cunnane, for her hard work and dedication whilst handling some challenging scenarios with competence to ensure a good outcome for all concerned.

There can only be one winner, however, and this month, it has to be Bernadette! Well done Bernadette, you’re an absolute star and well-deserved winner!

As ever, there have been some fantastic contributions from the team this month and everyone has really gone out of their way to help not only clients, but tenants and each other during a very busy period.

However, this month’s winner has stood out by taking on an increasing workload, helping out colleagues and receiving some great feedback from clients too. They have come on leaps and bounds and really seems to flourish under pressure.

Yes, this month’s winner of the Star Performer Award (and keeping the prize all to herself this time!) is star Apprentice Property Administrator, Abbey Renshaw. Very well done Abbey.
